What we collect
When you generate a formula, your prompt is sent to our servers so we can call a language model and return a result. We may keep short-lived operational logs (time, approximate region/IP for rate limiting, error codes, token estimates) to run and protect the service.
Do we store your prompts?
We do not build a permanent public library of your prompts. Successful results may be saved only in your browser (local history). Server-side, prompts may appear transiently in application logs for debugging and abuse prevention, then aged out on a short retention schedule (typically days, not months), unless needed longer to investigate abuse or security issues.
Model providers & training
Formula generation uses third-party AI APIs. We configure providers not to use Sheetova API traffic for model training where the vendor offers that control. We do not sell your prompts. We cannot promise how every upstream provider processes data beyond their published terms—avoid pasting secrets, personal data, or confidential workbooks into prompts.
Cookies & identifiers
We use cookies (and similar identifiers) to enforce free daily quotas and rate limits. Analytics tools, if enabled, may set their own cookies or use cookieless measurement depending on configuration.
Analytics
In production we may use privacy-friendly analytics (for example Plausible) and/or Google Analytics 4 to understand pageviews and product events such as generate and copy. Development environments keep analytics off or isolated unless explicitly enabled.
